
Antonio Walker
Antonio is the President of the Chilean National Agriculture Society (SNA), a position he has held since 2023, and previously served as Chile’s Minister of Agriculture between 2018 and 2021. He is the founder and General Manager of Wapri, a leading Chilean agribusiness dedicated to fruit production and exports for more than 20 years. Under his leadership, Wapri achieved a historic milestone in 2004 by shipping the country’s 200 millionth fruit box abroad. In addition to his entrepreneurial work, Antonio has been a prominent industry leader in Chile. He was elected President of Fedefruta, the national fruit growers’ federation, serving from 2010 to 2012, and also chaired Fruséptima, which represents producers in the Maule region. He has served as a board member of the National Agriculture Society and is part of the Productivity Commission of the Confederation of Production and Commerce (CPC). Antonio’s career reflects a lifelong commitment to advancing Chilean agriculture, combining his experience as an entrepreneur with his role as a policymaker and industry advocate.
